Today

marked the beginning of spring semester. We’ve both reached the half-way mark in our three year MFA degrees and are already counting the days until we have finished. Being on opposite ends of the country has been trying but ultimately rewarding for the two of us as individuals.

I miss Christopher every day. Every minute.

In my scene study class we are exploring The Grapes of Wrath as a stage play. One of the actors remarked that he couldn’t connect to the story because in his life there is no equivalent to what California represented to the Joads and the Dust Bowlers.

My professor said she was haunted by the comment: that our generation ought to know what our California represents.

I think my California is in California.

Long day - much to do. Would rather be knitting and cuddling but instead, memorizing lines and drinking green tea.

It don’t get more fey than that, folks.

happiness.

Today

has been a proactive procrastinating proactive day.

Good lord. The Todd Glass WTF interview is beautiful and heartbreaking. This is a perspective on coming out that nobody gives these days, and it should be required listening for every person in America. Get on board. →

Seconded.

For a role.

For a role.

Had to.

Had to.

For Halloween, I’m going to super-glue my eyelids open, rat my hair, and make out with a flaming homosexual.

She is such a bitch.
